The KBRS Shower Installation Kits start with the popular, cut-to-fit ShowerSlope™ linear or point drain shower pan. The ShowerSlope™ is a tileable wet area substrate that provides the required positive floor drainage in a tile shower assembly. Orderable in select sizes, then easily trimmed down to fit the exact space needed, KBRS ShowerSlope™ is the most rock-solid, prefabricated, tileable shower pan available. This kit, though, features the popular, unmatched and patented, KBRS HardCurb®.
One of the most critical components of a tile shower is the curb. If a shower curb is not properly constructed (and most are not), the risk of damaging leaks and tile failure increases substantially. But not with the KBRS HardCurb®. Thanks to the self-sealing anchoring layer, shower enclosure mounting hardware is easily secured and sealed to hold it in place. Plus, the ready-to-be-tiled KBRS HardCurb® is designed for interior and exterior, residential and commercial installations. Once installed, just add your thin set and decorative tile. The KBRS Shower Installation Kits are the only kits where you will find the HardCurb.
Supporting Cast: Waterproofing Materials
The big benefit of buying a bundled kit (besides saving money) is that it includes the supporting materials you will need to install your ready-to-tile shower. KBRS Shower Installation Kits include a notched trowel and linear or point drain. Your order also includes a ShowerSeal® Waterproofing Pack that consists of 1 gal liquid liner (50 s/f waterproofing coverage area), 2 tubes polyurethane sealant and 1 roll gauging fabric.
